Odd Engine Publisher Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-15
Odd Engine Publisher is a private publishing workflow operated by OperonCore to prepare and publish short-form video content for the Odd Engine Stories social media channels, including TikTok.
This page explains what data may be processed when the app is connected to TikTok or used for publishing operations.
Who operates the app
Odd Engine Publisher is operated by OperonCore as an internal publishing and content-management workflow. The app is intended to support the preparation, review, and publication of content for channels owned or managed by the operator.
The app is not designed as a public social network, public analytics broker, or resale service. It is used to connect authorized accounts and to perform publishing tasks that the account owner has approved.
Data we may process
Depending on the permissions granted during authorization, the app may process limited account and publishing information needed to operate the workflow. This may include account identifiers, connected-channel metadata, access tokens provided through the platform authorization flow, media files selected for upload, captions, publishing status, and basic response data returned by the platform API.
The app may also keep operational logs such as timestamps, error messages, request status, and internal publishing references. These logs are used to diagnose failed uploads, prevent duplicate publishing, and maintain a reliable workflow.
How we use data
Data is used only for functional publishing purposes: preparing posts, uploading approved media, checking upload status, troubleshooting API errors, and maintaining records required to avoid repeated or accidental publishing.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use TikTok API data to build unrelated user profiles, to run third-party advertising targeting, or to transfer data to data brokers.
TikTok API data
When the app connects to TikTok, it uses TikTok-provided authorization and API responses only for the permissions granted by the authorized account. Access can be revoked by the account owner through TikTok account or app authorization settings when available.
Any media or captions sent to TikTok are content selected by the operator for publication. The app does not attempt to collect private TikTok user data beyond what is necessary for the authorized publishing workflow.
Sharing and retention
Data may be shared with TikTok only as required to complete authorized publishing actions. Operational data may be stored on systems controlled by the operator or trusted hosting providers used to run the workflow.
Data is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for publishing operations, troubleshooting, auditability, security, and legal or platform-compliance needs. Credentials and tokens should be rotated or removed when they are no longer needed.
Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to limit access to app credentials, tokens, and publishing records. Access is restricted to the operator and authorized technical systems needed to maintain the workflow.
No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If a security issue is suspected, access tokens may be revoked, credentials rotated, and affected workflows disabled while the issue is investigated.
